Here to help during COVID-19

Assure Technical – here to during COVID 19

As the Covid-19 virus outbreak continues to escalate, I would like to update you on how we are addressing the situation at Assure Technical and reassure our clients that we will continue to offer our services to protect their businesses security through the pandemic.

First and foremost, our thoughts are with all those who have become ill, their families and the many key-workers who are providing essential services at this time.

Safety first

The safety of our team, their families, our partners and our clients, is our greatest priority. We transitioned our entire business to remote working on Monday 16th March.

Remote working has always been an integral part of how we conduct our business, so we have been fortunate to achieve this without impacting the delivery of our services and high standards.

Business as usual at Assure Technical

With information security at the core of what we do, our team is especially prepared to maintain business as usual at this time. We will continue to provide our customers with the highest quality of service, regardless of whether your team is based in the office or working from home.

Through investing in our technical capability, we are now delivering all aspects of Cyber Essentials and IASME Certifications remotely during this lockdown period. This includes Cyber Essentials PLUS, which historically, would have required an on-site audit.

Our technology is able conduct remote vulnerability assesments of both company issued and user’s own devices (BYOD), so all elements of your technical infrastructure can be audited.

We will continue to commit to rapid turnarounds – getting you certified as quickly as same working day for Cyber Essentials and within one week for Cyber Essentials PLUS and IASME Governance.

Consider your business security

We’d like to urge our customers and the wider business community to consider the importance of their cyber security and physical security, as a surge of opportunistic criminals are taking advantage of these ambiguous times.

It is especially important that you consider how recent, rapid changes to your business operation could have increased your exposure to the loss of assets and information.

Here to help

We’re here to help in whatever way we can.

You can visit our Business Resource Hub, where you’ll find useful downloads, including our Home Working Cyber Checklist as well as other relevant blog articles and other resources.

Please also reach out to me and the rest of the Assure Technical team if you require any security advice at this time. We will happily provide you with free, confidential guidance. You can call us between the hours of 8.30 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. Monday to Friday on +44(0)1684 252 770, or if you prefer, email us at [email protected]

Stronger together

These are unprecedented times. I believe the only way businesses will succeed is if we come together as a community at this time.  We must remain connected as we become socially distant and support one another to keep UK business moving and safeguard our economy.

Stay safe and stay connected,

Pete Rucinski
